Al Badiyah Mosque

The Al-Badiyah Mosque, commonly known as the Ottoman Mosque, is a notable structure in the Emirates of Fujairah, UAE.It is regarded one of the UAE's oldest ancient mosques and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tourists can get there by automobile from Fujairah International Airport.The location is free of any entry price.

It is considered as the oldest of the emirates, dating back to 1446. The curving, short mudbrick construction with four sepulchers sits on a single internal pillar. This small structure distinguishes the Badiyah mosque from all others in the Arab world.

Located north of Badiyah hamlet on a modest hill, it is definitely worth walking up to the mosque's summit for panoramic views of the Hajar Mountains and the Arabian Gulf.
