Hatta Dam
The Hatta Dam is a popular local hiking and running track, providing a small refuge of nature not far from the city. Hatta Dam is easily one of the most popular Instagram destinations outside of the city. There are numerous hiking trails through the mountains, including one to the famed Hatta sign (Hollywood, eat your heart out), or you may go out on the sea in a boat. If the vistas aren't enough for you, Hatta Wadi Hub offers water slides and other exciting activities. This one is better left off the list if the weather is extremely hot, as shade may be difficult to find. Make careful to verify before you go.
