Jubail Mangrove Park

The Jubail Mangrove Park was one of the first confined recreational, natural, and educational sites in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This park allows you to explore and visit a haven for Abu Dhabi's indigenous marine and avian species. Jubail Mangrove Park is essentially a mangrove sanctuary. It seeks to improve understanding, appreciation, and awareness of the mangrove.

Jubail Mangrove Park, located within Al Jubail Island's boundaries, is a mangrove refuge. This park is the capital's one-of-a-kind recreational, educational, and natural resource facility. It also holds a variety of Abu Dhabi's avian and marine species. The Park's terrain inspires images of the Deep South bayous in the United States, submerged in pale blue soulful seas that appear straight up from one of the Maldives brochures. The park's trees are entirely "gray mangroves" with upward-facing pointy roots that enable them breathe and retain oxygen during high tide.

If you're tired of the city's deafening noise, come to this serene location that transports you far away from the exhausting world and provides peace of mind. This park features a network of boardwalk walkways designed for pedestrians. These trails take visitors through Jubail island's tidal lagoons and mangrove woods. The 2.6-kilometer boardwalk passes through a variety of ecosystems, including distinctive lagoon channels, salt marshes, intertidal mudflats, sandstone geological formations, and mangrove habitat. The park protects the Abu Dhabi shoreline by maintaining a clean environment with a suitable climate and fresh air for marine and wild creatures.
