Masafi
Masafi-Masafi is located on a cliff in the Hajar Mountains between Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah. Masafi, known for its natural water source, is the major producer of water for the Gulf's mineral water corporation Masafi.Masafi Village is particularly well-known for its local market, which sells handicrafts, rugs, fruits, and vegetables.
The town, which straddles the boundary of the Hajar mountains near Fujairah, used to be a trading station and refueling stop until the highways were built in the early 1970s. Masafi is primarily located in Fujairah, with a smaller portion in Ras-al-Khaimah.
Masafi village is the largest producer of mineral water in the Gulf countries, hence the village gained its name from the Arabic term 'Masafi', which means 'clean water'.
