Umm Al Quwain Fort And Museum

The Umm Al-Quwain Museum, formerly known as the Umm Al-Quwain Fort, was erected by Sheikh Rashid Bin Majid Al Mualla in 1768 as a residence for the Mualla dynasty.The gold glazed family tree is the most remarkable piece in this museum.The Museum's admittance price for anyone above the age of 15 is 5 AED.Visitors under the age of 15 can enter for free.

The property's history extends back 250 years, when it was owned by the royal family and known as the Umm-Al Quwain Fort. Currently, it serves as the UAE's official museum, displaying the history of the emirates within the fortress's grounds.

The museum's main attractions include a majlis, old Bedouin jewellery, elegant weapons, and other archeological artifacts from Abraq and Al Dour. The museum also holds a large collection of objects excavated from adjacent locations, which provide insight into the UAE's heritage and culture.
